Redefined Health
Posted on June 2nd, 2009 No commentsA good friend and myself recently began writing on Redefined Health. Despite what the name might suggest, the site is not primarily about health. In fact, it’s not primarily about any particular subject. Instead, it’s a venue that will serve the following purposes:
1.) Collaboration-
Josh and I love bouncing ideas off of each other, because it’s likely that the other person can provide some useful input. Since we live about 50 miles apart, this rarely gets to happen in person, and this site will allow us to get more of this done.
2.) Brainstorming-
We both are struck by random ideas on a consistent basis. Hopefully RH can be a place to throw absolutely anything out there and get some constructive feedback.
3.) Outside of niche writing-
I recently wrote a post about a productivity habit of mine and another about my big-picture thoughts regarding the green revolution, neither of which would really belong here on Shultice Financial. I feel my niche on this site allows me a great deal of freedom, but it’s not completely open. Redefined Health gives me a place where I can improve my writing and critical thinking skills relating to just about any subject under the sun.
Josh has already posted some really thought-provoking material on RH, and I’m looking forward to reading more of his stuff in the future (assuming he makes the time for writing once in a while
).4.) Accountability-
Josh and I like to push each other, especially in ways that no one else really does. By having a shared space like this one, we can challenge one another and hold ourselves accountable to a higher standard.
There really are no concrete plans for this site. I guess we’ll see where things go…
Feel free to check it out and leave any thoughts you may have. On occasion, I’ll probably post a quick link here to something good over on that site.
